Students who secure opportunities should always remember the following:

1.      Notify all of your teachers about your internship and how that may affect your attendance.

2.      Dress for your internship as if your where going to the worksite for a job. It could one day become a fulltime job!

3.      Always carry the following materials/documents with you:

·        Clear directions to the site

·        Your identification

·        A pen and notebook

4.      Always arrive early! Plan to arrive 15 minutes before your start time.

Early = On Time                      On Time = Late

5.      If you find yourself running late, contact your supervisor by calling the phone number that was provided to you, to let them know you are delayed and what time they should expect you.

6.      Always ask questions if there is anything you are uncertain about, or if there are areas of the worksite that you would like to learn more about.
