  Bronx Design & Construction Academy

• Parent Teacher Conferences: Thursday, September 26th, 5:00 - 8:00 PM

  This Thursday we will host our first Parent Teacher Conferences, remotely, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. This will be an opportunity to meet with your son/daughter's teachers to learn about course expectations, how your student is progressing in class, and address any concerns or questions you may have. You will have an opportunity to meet with multiple teachers and counselors. Please do not miss out on this opportunity.

  To receive a call, email, video conference, please complete this Parent Teacher Conference request form by Wednesday, September 25th. Teachers will reach out to you during your preferred time as indicated on the form. Our next Parent Teacher Conference is not until November. Please be sure to submit your request today!

  Marking Period 1 will end Friday, October 18th. Report cards will be mailed home to families beginning Thursday, October 24th. Please contact our parent coordinator, Ms. Garcia (cgarcia@bxdesign.org) if you have any questions.

  We welcome all of our new students to Bronx Design!

  We will host a New Student Orientation on Tuesday, August 20th (5:00 - 7:00 PM) and Wednesday, August 28th (4:00 - 6:00 PM). You will only need to attend one. Important information will be shared, and giveaways will be distributed. You do not want to miss this opportunity! Welcome to the family.

  We will host Open Houses to our newly accepted students on Saturday, May 18, June 1 and June 22. This will be an opportunity for our new families to tour our campus, learn more about our programs, and confirm their decisions for next school year. 

  Families should only attend one time slot: 10:00 - 11:00 AM and 12:00 - 1:00 PM

• Family Fun Day | Saturday, June 8th from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM

  This Saturday, Bronx Design will host its 2nd Family Fun Day! Come out and have some fun with music, games, food, raffles and MORE! We will be raffling off a bicycle, Dave & Buster's gift cards, Movie passes and more!

  A bag of groceries will be provided to the first 50 families who register (RSVP) here.

  On April 12th, we will host our 3rd Annual CTE Fair at Bronx Design & Construction Academy. Please be sure to RSVP so we can ensure you have an opportunity to experience our event to the fullest!

  The CTE Fair is an opportunity for industry partners, parents, prospective students, DOE friends, and alumni to visit our school campus and see Bronx Design students in action! Students will be presenting projects and working inside of our CTE shops. Check out the recap from last year.

• Saturday Regents Prep Academy

  Beginning December 2nd, Bronx Design will host a Regents Prep Academy for students who are preparing to take the January 2024 Regents. Test prep will be offered for Algebra I, Algebra II, English, Global History, and Living Environment. Students must sign up. Lunch will be provided to student participants.
